Stephen is a Corpus Christi native, moving back to the Coastal Bend shortly after law school in 2002. Since moving back, he has been continuously involved in the community. Serving on various boards such as: The Board of Trustees for the South Texas Art Museum, Corpus Christi Bar Association, K Space Contemporary, Women and Mens Health Organization, The Mayor’s Fitness Council, The Coastal Bend Aids Foundation, American Cancer Society’s Cattle Barons’s Ball, and The Downtown Revitalization Alliance. He graduated from Leadership Corpus Christi as member of Class 35. He currently is the President of the Real Estate and Probate Section of the Corpus Christi Bar Association.
Professionally licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, he is also admitted to practice in the Southern and Western United States District Courts, as well the United Sates Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit. After taking the 40-hour basic mediation course, he was certified in 2020 as a credentialed mediator by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association. He currently is Of Counsel to the Law Offices of Arnold Gonzalez, Jr. His practice primarily consists of administrative law, business law, federal crimes, litigation, mediation, and real estate law.
Stephen represents individuals, small businesses, and large companies in a variety of matters taking a results oriented approach. As a former business owner of CrossFit Downtown Corpus he understands the need for quick and pragmatic solutions to problems big and small that can arise. Whether it is in the court room or the negotiating room he is there to help you stay on or get back on the right track.
