Administrative law governs federal and state agencies. It helps ensure the actions they take are constitutional, and provides a framework for contesting them.

BUSINESS LAW

Business litigation and disputes can range from a customer disagreement to a copyright lawsuit, and can seriously impact a business.

FEDERAL CRIMES

A federal crime is prosecuted under federal law, not state. Federal charges can come from crimes committed on federal lands, or from offenses like tax evasion.

LITIGATION

An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. The act or process of bringing a lawsuit in and of itself; a judicial contest; any dispute. When a person begins a civil lawsuit, the person enters into a process called litigation.

MEDIATOR

The mediator's primary role is to act as a neutral third party who facilitates discussions between the parties. In addition, a mediator serves in an evaluative role when they analyze, assess the issues, and engage in reality-testing.

REAL ESTATE LAW

The term real estate generally refers to ownership or use of land. Real estate law is a branch of civil law that covers the right to possess, use, and enjoy land and the permanent man-made additions attached to it. Real estate law directly or indirectly impacts most of us on a daily basis, affecting homeowners, renters, landlords, home buyers and home sellers.
