ADMINISTRATIVE LAW

Administrative law governs federal and state agencies. It helps ensure the actions they take are constitutional, and provides a framework for contesting them.

BUSINESS LAW

Business litigation and disputes can range from a customer disagreement to a copyright lawsuit, and can seriously impact a business.

FEDERAL CRIMES

A federal crime is prosecuted under federal law, not state. Federal charges can come from crimes committed on federal lands, or from offenses like tax evasion.

LITIGATION and MEDIATION

An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. The act or process of bringing a lawsuit in and of itself; a judicial contest; any dispute. When a person begins a civil lawsuit, the person enters into a process called litigation.

A trained mediation lawyer will help you negotiate your dispute until you and the other party reach an agreement together. Mediation allows for a process with a quicker and more flexible schedule, is often the least expensive legal option available, and allows you to have more input over the outcome of your case. Contact a mediation lawyer or a mediator if you have a disagreement that you need resolved without the cost and hassle of going to trial.

REAL ESTATE LAW

The term real estate generally refers to ownership or use of land. Real estate law is a branch of civil law that covers the right to possess, use, and enjoy land and the permanent man-made additions attached to it. Real estate law directly or indirectly impacts most of us on a daily basis, affecting homeowners, renters, landlords, home buyers and home sellers.
